The cacao paste is made by stone grinding the cacao nibs ( without the use of heat) into a smooth liquid state that solidifies at room temperature. Since no heat is used in this process, cacao paste retains its natural properties (such as the highest concentrations of antioxidants of any food in the world, and may be exceptionally high in chromium, iron, anandamide, theobromine, manganese, zinc, copper, vitamin C, Omega-6 fatty acids, phenylethylamine (PEA), trytophan, serotonin, and more). Cacao paste is an extremely smooth product great for use in hot chocolate, smoothies, desserts and any other chocolate creations.
