New Roots Herbal Grapefruit Seed Extract
$ 10.38
Grapefruit seed extract is being used successfully in humans and animals alike to eliminate many types of internal and external infections caused from many types of parasites (single and multi-celled), viruses, bacterium, and funguses. It naturally detoxifies, enhances and supports the immune system. It has been proven highly effective in numerous applications.
Grapefruit seed extract contains high levels of vitamin C and E, and bioflavonoids. The important substances have an antioxidant action and can neutralize free radicals that damage cells and cause numerous illnesses.
Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) contains mainly polyphenolic compounds, including quercetin, hesperidin, campherol glycoside, neohesperidin, naringin, apigenin, rutinoside, poncirin, etc. The polyphenols themselves are unstable but are chemically converted into more stable substances that belong to a diverse class of products, called quaternary ammonium compounds. Some quaternary compounds, benzethonium chloride and benzalkonium chloride, for example, are used industrially as antimicrobials, but are toxic to animal life. The B vitamin choline is also a quaternary compound, but is non toxic and even essential for maintaining healthy neurological function and fat metabolism.
GSE features the best of both worlds: the quaternary compounds derived from grapefruit exhibit broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, while evidencing none of the toxic side effects of chemically derived quaternaries. According to an independent laboratory testing “Acute Oral Toxicity,” it would take at least 4 000 times the normal dose of GSE to produce a 50% chance of poisoning (called LD50).
Shake well. As a dietary supplement, mix 5-15 drops in a glass of water or juice, 1 to 3 times daily, with or without meals.
Ingredients: Grapefruit seed extract and vegetable glycerine only. This grapefruit seed extract is a natural extract of grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine seed.
Contains no: preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, sugar, milk, starch, wheat, corn, soy or yeast.
Caution: Do not put in eyes or use full strength in mouth, ears, nose or sensitive areas. May cause irritation if used directly on the skin.

New Roots Herbal Pau d’Arco Taheebo (Liquid)
$ 24.95
Pau D'arco has been found to have antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic and antifungal properties, including anti-candida, anticancerous and antitumor properties. Liquid extract.
Pau d’arco has been deeply prized by many of the indigenous tribes of South America. They were well aware of Pau d’arco’s numerous health benefits and used it for just about every health problem. Perhaps, pau d’arco’s most impressive use may be its reputation for fighting cancer. Since 1960, medical doctors in South America, at the Santo Andre hospital, São Paulo, Brazil, have used pau d’arco to treat terminally ill cancer patients. Well known herbalists report that pau d’arco cures leukemia and reduces pain in cancer patients. It also increases blood cell counts, enabling it to fight many illnesses.
Pau d’arco uses are many. It is also used to treat ulcers, diabetes, rheumatism, ring worm, bronchitis and other respiratory problems, gonorrhea, hemorrhages, cystitis, colitis, gastritis, Parkinson’s, arteriosclerosis, Hodgkin’s, lupus, polyps, prostatis, leucorrhea, candidiasis, endometriosis, fibroids, cysts, growths and tumors, anemia and inflammation of the urinary tract, just to mention some of this incredible herb’s uses.
Its anticancerous properties were first attributed to a phytochemical found in the bark and wood, called lapachol. In a 1968 study, lapachol demonstrated highly significant activity against cancerous tumors in rats. Another research group developed a lapachol analog in 1975, which was effective in increasing the life span by over 80% in mice inoculated with leukemic cells. In a small study in 1980 with nine patients with various cancers (liver, kidney, breast, prostate and cervix), pure lapachol demonstrated an ability to shrink tumors and achieved complete remissions in three of the patients.
Pau d’arco is known to eliminate toxins in the body and purify the blood. In an original weight loss research study performed in Chicago in 1992, women’s chronic yeast infections cleared up promptly when pau d’arco was added to the formula. Pau d’arco also has anti-inflammatory characteristics, making it useful in the treatment of arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. The safest and best part of the herb to use is the whole inner bark, brewed as a tea.
Shake well. Take 5–7 drops in purified water or hot water for tea or directly under the tongue two or three times daily.
Each ml contains: An extract of pau d’arco equal to 1,000 mg extracted in a liquid composed of organic grain ethanol (25%) and purified water.
